CIMODE main commitment is to contribute to the development and diffusion of scientific studies in Fashion and Design. The event, planned to be held every two years in different Latin-speaking countries (European and American countries of Latin expression), is dedicated to the discussion of the research and the teaching of Fashion and Design studies and intends to be an important forum for discussion of issues relevant to the progression of knowledge in these areas.
Being an inter and trans-disciplinary Congress, CIMODE seeks to explore Fashion and Design from a social, cultural, psychological and communicational perspective, trying to bring together different approaches and points of view about the practice, teaching and the culture of Design and Fashion.
